These puree recipes for babies are perfect for a balanced diet.

Puree with banana and mandarin

Ingredients:

  • 4 bananas
  • 1/2 mandarin
  • Sugar to taste

Preparation:

  1. To begin with,  peel and cut the bananas into slices. 
  2. Put the slices in a blender, together with the juice from a ½ mandarin.
  3. Blend it well and  add the amount of sugar you like. Be careful not to add too much. 
  4. After adding the sugar, blend one last time and serve immediately.

Puree with cauliflower and cheese

Ingredients:

  • 175 g cauliflower
  • 175 ml milk
  • 15 g margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g grated cheddar cheese

Preparation:

  1. First,  split the cauliflower into several must pieces. 
  2. Heat some water in a saucepan with a little salt.
  3. When the water is about to boil,  add the cauliflower and let it boil for 10 minutes. 
  4. After 10 minutes, drain the cauliflower and place it in a bowl.
  5. To make the puree,  add margarine to the cauliflower. 
  6. Mash it all together until it becomes a smooth mass,  with a fork.
  7. Add milk and stir until you achieve a smooth texture for your baby.
  8. Finally,  add the grated cheese,  and serve so your baby can enjoy his meal.

Puree with white fish

Ingredients:

  • 1 hake fillet
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 potato
  • 235 ml of water
  • 1 chives
  • A little extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Peel a squash, grate it and chop the potatoes, chives and carrots. 
  2. When they are ready, put them in a pan and cook them with the hake fillet until the vegetables are soft.
  3. Next,  pick up the vegetables and drain them. Put them in a blender, and blend them with a bit of the boiling water, and let them blend for about 3 minutes.
  4. Then, crumble the hake fillet, and add it to the blender. Be aware that there are no hard pieces. 
  5. Blend it all together until you achieve a uniform mass, and a soft texture for your baby.
  6. Finally, to serve,  add a few drops of extra virgin olive oil to the plate.

Puree with watermelon, mango and banana

Ingredients:

  • 1 slice of watermelon
  • 1 orange
  • 1 banana
  • 1 mango

Preparation:

  1. Peel a squash, grate it  and slice it, one at a time. Be sure to remove any seeds.
  2. Once they are all cut out,  add them to a blender, and blend until you get a smooth and uniform mass. 
  3. Add juice from an orange, little by little, and blend the mixture a little more.
  4. In case the puree is very thin,  you can add a gluten-free cookie to thicken it. 

Puree with squash and ham

Ingredients:

  • 1 squash
  • 80 g cooked ham
  • 1 potato
  • 1 tsp. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Wash and peel potatoes and squash
  2. Next,  steam them. You can do this by putting them in the microwave, for 5 minutes at 100 degrees Celsium, for a quarter of the normal time.
  3. When the time is up, add the ham and a spoonful of cream cheese and olive oil. Set the time to 3 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius, at one-fifth of the normal time. 
  4. After this,  blend the mixture a bit, and serve it immediately.
